 The Neighborhood Christian Center is a beacon of hope within the inner city of Jackson, Mississippi. We share Christ's love through caring for the physical, spiritual, education and emotional needs of the poor. Our center is a safe place where we believe that education and sharing the love of Jesus Christ is the key to helping children succeed. We do this through offering: after-school tutoring, summer academic programs and instruction in the visual and performing arts . For adults in our community, we offer: classes in Parenting & Computer Literacy and assistance as needed with clothing and food. Every holiday season, we distribute over 900 meals to needy families in our surrounding community. Inside you will find more information about our ministry to the inner city of Jackson.
