Mr. Rafael Jackson

Rafael outsideMr. Jackson serves as the Director of Peyton’s House, which is a new ministry under Neighborhood Christian Center that provides spiritual, educational, relational growth to middle to high school aged young men. He has 7 years of experience in Youth Ministry. YoungLife, Youth For Christ, 100 Black Men, The Spencer Perkins Center Foundation, and Reformed University Fellowship have been instrumental in Rafael’s youth ministry experience.

Jackson attended Hinds Community College, where he was a part of the Baptist Student Union (BSU), the Hinds Eagles Baseball Team, and the Hinds Gospel Choir. He earned his B.A. degree in Sociology from Jackson State University. While attending Jackson State University, he was a part of Reformed University Fellowship and also was an honor student. He has also had the opportunity to serve as Youth Pastor for two churches in Jackson, MS.

Jackson has also had the wonderful opportunity to work and volunteer at several non-profit organizations. They include: Mississippi Families for Kids, Stewpot, Boys & Girls Club, and YoungLife. Through these organizations, he has had the opportunity to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well as spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has also had the opportunity to travel to Japan through Reformed University Fellowship and Redeemer Presbyterian Church to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song with several other missionaries on a short-term mission trip.

Jackson is currently attending seminary.
